  •  Thank you to Energy Oasis for hosting the meeting. Kathy served delicious treats for us all to munch on. Kathy Ackerman also offered all WBA members a great discount on membership at her spa and gym. The discount included waiving the initiation fee and 2 personal training sessions. WOW!! What a deal, thanks so much Kathy.
    Her Massage therapist, Lea also generously offered a great offer just for WBA attendees - a free 40 minute relaxation massage.
  • Susan Tobelman of Top to Bottom Organizing was another hostess this month. She sets up an organizational system that fits every need and want. From attics and garages, to pantries and children’s closets. She can help anyone become more organized and also works with her clients so that they stay that way as well. Click here to find out about her organizing classes she will be teaching at the Community Education Center here in Richmond Hill.

General Notes

  • September 11, 2007 -  Our 3rd quarter night meeting for 2007 at Coastal Celebrations. To RSVP send your $25 to Shirley Heagerty or drop it off at her store. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept payment at the door or accommodate those who have not contacted Shirley.  Click here for more information.
  • The September meeting will include a Silent Auction to benefit the Good Samaritan Fund. If you would like to donate any items, please bring it by Shirley’s office no later than September 1st. All donations must be valued at over $100 and must be packaged neatly in a basket or wrapped up in a nice display. You must put a business card and a list of the items inside on the outside of the basket so we know what is inside.
  • October 9th -  Cindy Gernatt and Alice Schaller will host the monthly meeting at Cindy’s Framing on Ford Avenue. We will be nominating new officers at this time.  If you would like to nominate someone or yourself for a position on the 2008 board, email those to the board members or submit their name at the October meeting.
  • November 13th - Our monthly meeting will be hosted by Christy Balbo at her office located at 10020 Ford Ave.
  • December - Our annual holiday social and 2008 officer inauguration. If you have a suggestion, please email one of the board members. Right now we have the River Boat cruise with dinner. We are looking into others but we need to know how many will attend. Please email Tina if you are interested in attending.
